How is the booking and payment made?

The booking process is very simple: choose the composition that suits you, choose the duration of the session and the date you want to book. If you have a score ready, then attach it to the order - so we can quickly check everything and confirm the order.

After sending the application, we will contact you to discuss the details of your order. If everything is in order, we will issue an invoice for payment. A 100% prepayment is required to confirm the booking. You can pay by card or bank transfer.

You can read more about booking and payment procedure in the rules for the provision of services and the public offer.

How much time do I need to book to record my music?

As a rule, a session of 4 hours is enough to record one track.

How far in advance do you need to book a session?

We recommend booking your session at least 30 days in advance. This time is necessary to check the scores and agree on all the details. You can pre-order a group session in less than 30 days. In any case, we will contact you, clarify all the details and possibly offer a more suitable date.

What time will my session start?

Recording sessions are held from 11:00 to 23:00 (Moscow time). The time of an individual session is agreed upon when ordering. We will announce the group session time 3 days before the recording date.

How do I prepare for recording? What will be required of me during the registration?

To connect to the broadcast, you will need a computer with a stable Internet connection (recommended download speed of at least 8 Mbps), preferably the latest version of the Internet browser (we recommend using Chrome), a microphone, and the Zoom application to communicate with our team. Please install the required software prior to the session. We also recommend that you use headphones during operation in order to avoid the echo effect.

I need help with writing scores. Do you provide such a service?

Yes, we provide score preparation and drum arrangement writing services. To order the service, email us at contact@recyoursong.com prior to booking your session and describe your project.

Can I communicate with the conductor, sound engineer, musicians during the recording and express my wishes?

Depending on your wishes. Recording is possible in 44.1, 48, 88.2 or 96 kHz with a resolution of 24 bits

At your request, we will record the session in the following DAW: Pro Tools, Cubase, Logic, Reaper, Luna

What files will I get after recording? How soon will I receive the recorded material?

You will get the full multitrack. A multitrack usually includes close microphones, front of kit mics or Ambisonic microphones, near room mics and Far mono room mic . The files will be available for download 3 days after the end of the session - this time is necessary for the final quality control and uploading materials to the file-sharing service. We keep files for 30 days from the date of recording.

Who owns the rights to the received soundtrack? Where and how can I use recorded material?

All rights to the recorded materials belong to you. You can use them at your discretion without paying any additional fees or deductions.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel an already paid recording session?

Session cancellation is possible up to 21 calendar days before the scheduled recording date. If the session is canceled later than this date, the money paid will not be refunded. Postponing a session to a later date (but only within 90 calendar days, or to the nearest available session date) is possible no later than 14 calendar days before the scheduled recording date.
